Chapter 1
Tarot Correspondences
Bridges between symbolic languages
Tarot and astrology can enrich one another when their connections are used deliberately. This volume follows Golden Dawn-derived suit and Major Arcana associations familiar in many Rider–Waite–Smith-based readings, while labelling later outer-planet additions. The tables are study aids, not universal rules or evidence that a card reveals a chart placement. Learn how a correspondence adds a question, how deck traditions differ, and why a symbol’s direct association should not be replaced by its ruler’s association.
A correspondence is most useful as a bridge you can examine, rather than a rule that closes the reading.
